02 May 2013 – In preparation for the conduct of elections for overseas absentee voters on May 13, Philippine Consulate General in New York personnel and officials from attached services who were deputized by COMELEC as chair/members of the Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) took their oath of office before Consul General Mario L. De Leon, Jr. at the Kalayaan Hall Annex of the Philippine Center.

28 April 2013, New York - H.E. Jose L. Cuisia, Jr., marked the beginning of his third year as Philippine Ambassador to the US by taking part in a private-sector led Philippine Trade and Investment Roadshow at the Massachusetts State House and at a Get-together with the Filipino-American Community in New England at the Harvard Student Center. Both events took place on 26 April 2013.
