KHRYSTINA PRESNEDE CORPUZ

 Ms. Corpuz joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in May 2010 with the rank of Foreign Service Officer Class IV.

After six months of extensive training in the Foreign Service Institute, she assumed her position as Principal Assistant at the Internal Audit Service, the office mandated to strengthen the Department's internal control systems, improve existing systems and procedures, and promote transparency and accountability in various aspects of the Department's operations. During her two year assignment in IAS, Ms Corpuz took part in Performance Audits which produced system improvement recommendations in the Office of Consular Affairs and Office of Fiscal Management of the Department. She helped plan, organize and implement the conduct of Operations and Financial Audits of Regional Consular Offices across the country, and Foreign Service Posts in Asia.

Ms. Corpuz graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 1999, which paved the way for her career in the travel sector. She took on roles ranging from Operations, Marketing and Quality Assurance Management during the seven year experience in the industry.

She pursued her Master's degree in Business Administration in De La Salle University while also working as a consultant to various firms in marketing and promotions, operations management and strategic planning. In 2009, Ms Corpuz finished her MBA studies on the same day she found out she was accepted to the Foreign Service.

Release of Passports - 8 weeks from date of application
• proceed to the Releasing section at the Basement
• Open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
• Personal Pick-up - present Reminder Slip and your current passport
• Pick-up by Representative - present Reminder Slip, current passport, Signed Letter of Authority and photo-ID of Representative
Visa applications:
• Received between 9 AM & 12 PM will be ready for release from 4 PM to 5pm on the same day*
• Received between 1 PM & 4 PM will be ready for release from 4 PM until 5 PM of the following business day*
* For most Temporary Visitor's Visa applications. Some applications may require clearance and can only be released at a much later date.
