Congressman Glenn Thompson of Pennsylvania’s 5th District has agreed to join the Philippines-US Friendship Caucus, a group of congressmen in the US House of Representatives committed to help strengthen Philippines-US bilateral relations and focused on the domestic needs of the 2.5 million-strong Filipino-American community.

02 April 2012, New York – The Philippine Consulate General in New York in cooperation with the UN Staff Recreational Council-Philippine Cultural Society commemorated International Women’s Month with a special screening of Filipino filmmaker Ramona Diaz’s documentary “The Learning” on 29 March 2012 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center.
