16 April 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General in New York formalized an Alliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) with the signing of an agreement on 15 April 2013 held at the Kalayaan Hall Annex in the Philippine Center. Consul General Mario L. De Leon, Jr. and Mr. Robert D. Kulick, Regional Administrator of OSHA New York Region signed the Alliance before OSHA officials and Filipino community leaders.

10 April 2013, New York - The Philippine Association of Printmakers and the Leonore R.S. Lim Foundation for the Arts launched the exhibit simply titled "Printmaking" at the Lobby-Gallery of the Philippine Center in New York on 09 April 2013.

11 April 2013, New York – A Forum on "Representing Filipinos in America" was held at the City University of New York (CUNY) Law School on 11 April 2013. The forum was sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and the Sports Entertainment Law Student Association (SELSA) of CUNY Law School.

09 April 2013, New York – Philippine National Artist Ben Cabrera popular called BenCab is among the featured artists in a special exhibit entitled "Visions of Iberoamerican Art: bi/Coa: 200 Years of Identity" currently being held at the Instituto Cervantes in New York City from 4 to 26 April 2013.
